Tadich Grill

There are few original authentic experiences left in San Francisco from when I grew up here. The Tadich Grill is one of them.My folks and I try to go every Christmas Eve, and the experience is always the same. Hangout at the bar for a few drinks and banter, then sit in one of the fantastic booths. Curt but efficient service, no nonsense conversation from the staff. Classically good food. Great wines. Great atmosphere.Do not come here if you want to be coddled. Come here if you're looking for a great authentic original San Francisco meal.

Tadich Grill is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. This place offers old school classic seafood dishes, and they do it in a super professional way, delivering superior value. You can get meat here too but seafood is the specialty. My favorite is the cioppino (seafood stew with lots of shrimp, crab, fish, shellfish in a savory broth). Service at Tadich is also a highlight. They are very professional. The bar is excellent as well. They do not take reservations. Great place. Highly recommended.

Amazing food! I highly recommend that you visit this amazing restaurant. The staff are kind, welcoming, and attentive! The food is, as stated previously, amazing! We tried several items and everything was cooked how we wanted them and were delicious! This is a place where you get what you pay for. It isn't the most expensive place ever but, be prepared for the price tag. Well worth it, though! There is a reason this place has been opened so long!
